I grew up not far from Parkview in the Four Winds neighborhood off of Rockbridge Road. I went to Arcado elementary and Trickum middle school before landing at Parkview. I was fortunate because during my time at Parkview the school began its ascension into the elite realms of academics and athletics.
High school is what you make of it. I often hear students complain that Parkview isn't what it used to be, but I take issue with that. Parkview is only as good as YOU make it. If you are committed to making your high school years as successful as possible, everyone benefits. Remember that. The only person responsible for the legacy you leave behind is you.
